காக்கை குருவி எங்கள் ஜாதி 

நீள் கடலும் மலையும் எங்கள் கூட்டம் 

நோக்கும் திசையெலாம் நாமன்றி வேறில்லை 

நோக்க நோக்க களியாட்டம் 

Crows and Sparrows are us,

Oceans and Mountains are us,

Whatever we see are us (wherever we look)

Dancing in ecstasy, just looking at...

How true!

We killed the birds.

We blew up our Mountains and Polluted our Oceans.

We spit venom into the very soil we walk, the water we drink and the air we breathe.

Naturally(!) we see only us, wherever we see, as we ensured just that! 

Let us keep dancing in ecstasy to the sound of drums beat relentlessly by our greed though we are chewing our very own existence morsel by morsel...with ever reducing fertility and all that...the drum roll will go on till the very last of us gives up.

And Bharathi? why bother? He is long dead anyway!
