Are you listening, oh Big Chief?!

 So what?

Garbage mounds (mostly plastic) mowing down hundreds of people in Nigeria and Srilanka - yeah, so what?

Dangerous levels of banned pesticides and herbicides found in food grains - yeah, so what?

Kids born with deformities due to poison in food, even in mother's milk - yeah, so what?

Plastic floating around and painting the borders of each and every house, road, village, town, city and state in India and elsewhere, even oceans - yeah, so what?

Aquifers drying up due to relentless pumping using free electricity - yeah, so what?

Water bodies drying up due to mindless 'colonization' of canals, tributaries, ponds and lakes - yeah, so what?

Mountains and forests disappearing due to mind numbing industrial activities - yeah, so what?

Monsoon rains disappearing like water droplets in sizzling pans - yeah, so what?

Air becoming un-breathable everywhere due to pollution of all kinds - yeah, so what?

Let us screw up the world and rejoice!

I won't be surprised if in the near future, safe and secure inside our wearable high tech survival suites, we are served just a few blobs of synthetic stuff loaded with all lab cooked nutrients, minerals and what not, as the only means of food (food, water, other drinks, medicines - loaded into separate blobs, colour coded!). Of course, they will be 'Made to Order', i.e. you want chicken tikka, you get it, you want Cabernet Sauvignon, here you go...

Once eaten, er...swallowed, they deliver the payloads as programmed, as if they are the good-old-real-but-now-extinct-foods, and exit our system in the usual way, only to be cleansed and reused; heck, why not?! (The 'exit time' of the blobs of course will be configurable; any time of the day based on our convenience. Would we care even then?!

I hear you saying something...What?...Oh I see...I get your point...you do care...the cleansing kit is of course free of cost as it is already priced in the blobs and is highly portable :-)

BIG Chief, you got it all wrong, tell ya!
