The easiest way to boost the GDP of a nation is by planting as many trees as possible. If we address the Green Deficit Problem, the GDP shall go up! Just think about it.

What about using CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility - a certain percentage of profit of each listed company must be spent on improving the society that made these companies profitable) funds just to plant trees and maintain them? Governments must make this an absolute must clause to allow the continued functioning of the Corporates...

What about electing political representatives based on the number of trees they helped grow in their constituencies?
