Oh No! Not Him!
D is for Dissent.
Capitol Hill can never be a Mountain made by or made for moles. USA will bounce back. This post is neither about Him nor about them.
Dissent often leads to constructive consultations, remedial actions and sustained adherence. World has grown from the forests one dissent at a time, might have been happening simultaneously in many forests :-)
A conflict between a Man and an Animal for a piece of food hanging in a tree or running for life from them both. A classic dissent this one is.
So the idea of the word began to take shape one letter at a time.
What could possibly be the intentions behind rest of the words that make up Democracy?
E - Elected / Equitable
M - Mandate
O - Open
C - Cooperative / Codified
R - Rational
A - Adherence
C - Caring
Y - You!
Or
E - Egalitarian
M - Malicious
O - Obtrusive
C - Cracy
A - Assumptative
C - Crooked
Y - You!
Choice is ours, as always.
In Indian Democracy, D stood for Delhi, for a very long time.
The current Dissent, in Delhi, may very well shape up how we are going to view our Democracy from here on.
